Today I received an email from Jill F. Always a nice thing. That means
pictures.
Below are picts from a commission for an all Koa left handed OM
Just the epoxy stage. This Koa I received from LMI last December. I think it
is from the same tree as Hesh's burst....No burst on this one with a Koa top

Man, that's pretty. Reminds me again why I like Koa so well.

By the way, Andy, you still need to lazify that dog some more.

I agree about lazifying the dog
I just haven't figured out yet how to do it
I am terrible at inlay

Get your camera, find a lazy dog, shoot lots of pix.
Send your best ones to Craig AND Paul.
Have a contest. Let them render your shots in their own way.
Post the results.
Let your OLF brethren decide the winner. (No, I don't watch American Idol)

You may have to raffle one of your guitars to pay for all this, but then you can write it off next year.

Plus, by the looks of your guitars, you should make out handsomely!

Just a few thoughts.....

Steve

Great looking guitar Andy. That shot of the two dogs could be made into a very sharp logo.

Thanks for the kind words
I would love to make the pict of the dog into a logo.
Esp some kind of headstock inlay... Not one that is too complicated because
I would love to use it over and over again.
I just don't know how to do it

I've always had a thing for springer spaniels. I had two growing up.
Loved em.

I'll second the rosette on the Koa top, looks great. How did you change your normal bracing for the Koa top?

                   Thanks, Paul

Andy, that's a perfect shot.
Sorry, Hesh, your's looks like something from Star Wars. Plus, he's far too awake.

Paul? Craig? Can you guys do something with this shot?

SK
